Does frequency matter with a Wireless Guitar system?
I'm buying one for my boyfriend for christmas this year- I already have one all picked out.. the AKG WMS 40 Pro Wireless Guitar System

but does the frequency I pick matter? I don't really understand what the differences between frequencies are?

Sorry to say but you really can't tell what frequency will work in any given situation. It is most likely the wireless unit will work just fine. Just make sure your boyfriend tries it soon so that you can return it if need be.
There really is no easy way to find out what frequency will work in your area - and even if there was, there is no guarantee that it will stay that way.
