How do i connect an external preamp to my pro tools LE system?
i have a LE system with a digi 003 rack interface. im trying to connect an Avalon VT737 preamp/compressor to my system but have run into a wall. can anybody give me a step by step on how to connect it to my system? thx a bunch!
Dude, the preamp has XLR jacks, right, so you need an XLR cable, and then the digi003 takes both balanced and line inputs, so you just get a cable that has XLR on both ends. Or, you can get an XLR to line cable, which is a little more expensive.
