Harp Mic

Does Little Walter mostly play harmonica with a microphone in his hand?
It sounds like it to me. Does he play much with a mic out of his hands? I'm kinda lukewarm to the whole Bullet mic style. I prefer accoustic harp - or harp played into a microphone - rather than holding the mic in hand while playing. I think bullet mics and hand-held mics limit the sound and capabilities of the harmonica - but that's just my opinion.
Who are some great accoustic harmonica players - or players that prefer do play into a stand-up mic rather than hold the mic in their hands?
Toots Thielemanns
Jan-Jaques Milteau
Igor Flach
Dieter Kropp
Lee Oskar
Steve Baker
Doug Jay
are all fantastic acoustic harp players

Microphone Mic
I just bought a stock Electrovoice 630 low impedance “Harmonica” mic on ebay. Seller can’t tell me what I need to hook it up to my Fender tube amp with 1/4″ jack. Not sure if this mic needs an adapter to switch it to hi-impedance (I think that is internally switchable) or what adapters I need to make this work plug and play into my amp. Any suggestions?
