Mic Clips
Sending sound clips using my PC, and NOT my mic.?
Hey guys, my friend keeps sending me these sound clips on MSN, i dunno how he does it though. He sends them in full quality, he just clicks the "Voiceclip" button on MSN, and whatever he is listening to is sent. If i want to do the same i have to put my mic inside my headset and the quality and volume is just terrible, does any of you know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.
I know about this quality issue. The fact is that you are using a low-end soundcard in your computer. Even if you buy the most expensive mic., it will NOT solve this issue. Your computer is born with it...
For the volume, you can right-click the volume icon in the taskbar and click on "recording peripherals" or something like that.
Then, click on the microphone and click on proprieties. Then go to a button called "loundness, levels, soundamplification" or something like that and adjust the levels up to the right. It will make the sound louder. 40Db is enough.
P.S. My computer is french, that's why I can't know how they are called on english computers.
