Mic Recording
Can someone tell me a high quality Usb Mic for recording vocals?
My husband does a lot of singing online and it often sounds nothing close to his actual voice. It is often very muffeled sounding and not very clear at all. Almost sounds like he has a cold or is stuffed up. So I want to get him a great mic for his birthday that will give him a high quality, professional result that will actual showcase his real voice. If anyone knows of any that are highly rated or you use personally please let me know. Thank you.
Well, you may want to carry it further:
- good speakers/sound system will playback much better/truer.
- recording through the 1/8" audio input on a cheap onboard sound card doesn't do a voice justice either. Their DAC (digital to analog converters) suck too. If you really want a good sound, you'll want a good digital recording input device.
