Which microphone is more worth it?

The only thing I'm stuck on are:
The first one has really good ratings and such.
The second one has three patterns.
So are the three patterns worth the extra $15? It's actually more, since I need to get a Pop Filter and shockmount (whilst the first one already comes with it).
Oh yeah, I'm going to use it for my allpurpose mic until I can save/convince my work to shell out 4G for a neumann 87.
So recording vocals, recording instruments, etc. Maybe even live performance if that's possible.
What are you going to use it for? From what I see, neither comes with a pop filter. You should figure out what the pick-up patter is on the AKG.
Figure 8 is for recording two things on opposite sides of the mic. For instance, two singers.
Omni, basically picks up everything evenly all around.
I see that it's around an extra $45 all together since it doesn't come with the Shock Mount. Probably not worth it huh. I wonder what they would do if you told them that you'll go with them instead of Musiciansfriend if they include the shock mount... They usually show me the door when I do that. lol
