Recording Condenser
What application is good for recording audio (w/ USB Condenser Mic & MIDI audio interface) and panning to 5.1?
I have been using Sony Acid pro 7, but when I record, it seems that my computer or the program can't keep up with the recording line, and I get a chopped up faulty recording as a result. This doesn't happen with other recording programs...
Can anyone provide me with a good recording program that will let me pan seperate tracks to 5.1 surround sound?
Take a look at NCH software, they have a whole suite of quality audio applications. Here is a link to a page with brief description of a lot of the audio programs, but I think RecordPad is what you are going to be looking for unless you wanted more editing capabilities once you have made the recording, then WavePad might be the way to go.
