Shure Microphone Model Beta 58A?
My boyfriend has a Shure Mic which use to work with his old computer that was running on windows XP. But now with his new computer that is Windows Vista it doesn't work.
He and I have both tried different things and tried to change the settings and so forth but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have this kind of mic or may know what is something we can do to make it work. Oh also, his computer microphone that like a cheap piece of crap works. But this $150 one doesn't. And it's not broke because he hooked it to a Karaoke machine and it works on that.
Any kind of advice would be gadly appreciated
Yes i have that mic. There's nothing wrong with the mic it's the computer.
Go to start* my computer* control panel* sound* speaker level and make sure nothing is checked or turned down* go to recordings and make sure there are no checks on mic levels* analog line mix* what you here*
