Stereo Microphone
I have a stereo microphone, how do I plug it to my computer?
I want to use my stereo microphone to record vocals to my computer and then digitally edit them with Audacity or something, really simple editing. What do I need to connect the microphone? I heard about a sound card or something? What's the best brand of whatever is needed? Thanks!
I have a Windows XP Media Edition
This is a COMPLETELY subjective question.
Go by a microphone from Guitar Center, if you want a higher quality microphone, and get an adapter to plug it into your sound card. Chances are the sound card accepts 1/8th inch male connectors.
Or, go to Newegg and find a microphone with an 1/8th male plug on the end.
