Computer won’t recognize Sennheiser E815 S-X?

what shall i do?
i have brought a 1/4 plug to xlr female connector
and a computer mic plug thing 1/4
computer doesn’t recognize anything !?
what do i dooooooooooo!?

Is this mic designed to be used with a computer?
If not, it will be difficult to set it up.
