Vintage Mic
My new pc doesn't behave properly?
I have just bought an ASUS Vintage V3-M2A690G with dual AMD 2.6 processor.
Love it really, but I am getting extremely low volume on the mic when trying to record sound, or speak to my chum in Canada, using Skype.
I alsocannot re-install Pinnacle Studio 10, which I have gradually upgraded from Studio 8, I try to install 8 and upgrade from there, but it will not uninstall 8, and won't install 9 until 8 is installed.
Sounds complicated, because it is, & I'm struggling.
Also my new pc tells me that WMS idle is ending, every time I close windows XP.
My old one never did.
Can anyone please advise?

WMS idle is ending
This problem occurs if Microsoft Office Communicator 2005 is running when you try to shut down Windows. Communicator 2005 opens a MAPI session that remains open when you try to shut down Windows.
